I want to make these Smart Studio Systems Membership posts as straight forward as possible to increase your business and so I am attaching a follow up email you can send to a prospect who came in to meet with one of your trainers (or yourself), but decided to go home and “think about it” before signing up. We all know how that goes, and so I have a short and sweet email to send out anytime this happens. (Just copy and paste the one I use and insert in your own information):

This is the exact email I send if for some reason we had a client leave without signing up after a complimentary fitness consultation. There are 101 reasons why they need to “think about it,” but sometimes all they need is a little reassurance that you are the right fit for them.

By sending this no pressure email you are showing them that you do not NEED them, but would like to help them achieve their goals. Plus, it spreads good will by offering to answer any other questions that came up. Additionally, it sets you a part as a professional since it is a very rare occurance for a business to take the time for the owner/manager to personally email a client.

Now on to the email…

Just insert your own text where there is an underline or X.

Comp Session Follow Up Email:

Hi Client X,

I just wanted to check in and see how your complimentary SCS Fitness Consultation went with Trainer X today. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to personally introduce myself and talk with you while you were at the studio.

I hope he was able to answer all of your questions and fill you in on most of the details about how we are able to design custom nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle programs for our clients.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I hope to see you in the studio soon!

Committed to your success,

Simple, easy, and effective… and that’s why it works ; )

I hope you put it to use immediately and remember that there is no downside to sending it out!

  • Look for more of these “Done for You” email templates in the future!

Also, the best thing to do is just copy and paste this one in an email and email it to yourself right now.

What I do is create a separate folder in my Outlook email called “Email Templates” where I store all my emails that I (or my assitant) send out.

    Hope that helps!
