Free Web Services to Save You Money

I wanted to post a few quick resources on some popular services that many people are paying for, but you could get for free. Check out this post for all the details!

Here are your FREE Resources:

I paid for ScreenFlow (http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/overview.htm), but did you know you can use http://www.Jott.com, http://www.ScreenToaster.com, and now http://www.Screenr.com for free.

If I had to choose, I think ScreenToaster is the best of the free ones since it allows both private and public links.

They all do pretty much the same thing, but screenr.com is actually built for Twitter and is able to be played on iPhones and iPads. If you’re using them for iPad videos make sure to set the video size to 1280×720 or less.

The reason I chose ScreenFlow is because it works seemlessly on a Mac and I like shooting screencast videos with my little talking head in the corner…

Also, for voice recordings that can be turned into MP3’s you can use http://www.FreeConferenceCall.com, and http://vocaroo.com/.

I also use http://www.audioacrobat.com, but they are $19.95 a month to host your videos and audio recordings.

FreeConferenceCall.com is great and it’s what I use to record small teleseminars, but if you’re simply recording an MP3, it’s INSANE how easy Vocaroo is to use. Literally, it’s ridiculous… once you press record and then press stop you automatically get the html code to copy and paste right on your website.

I hope these free screencast video and audio recording resources help and save you a few hundred dollars per year!
